One of the fun things about this show is being able to speculate about what will happen next! Based on the trailers and the events of 6.01, I have a few theories.
Who stole the transport ship? Who will hijack the mothership? I think ship was stolen by the people from the woods (Grounders 2.0) and not the people from the mountain village (Sanctum) the exploratory team stumbled upon. I don’t believe that the Sanctum people ever go beyond their radiation fence. The eclipse was starting when the exploratory team landed so the Sanctum people probably retreated to their hiding spot at that point.
Some people have immunity from the eclipse-induced psychosis. The children’s book Clarke finds says “so few are safe once exposed” which would seemingly indicate that some people are immune. I was thinking Russell and his court since the sky still looked a bit burnt orange when he says “Lock them up” in the second trailer. The second season 6 trailer also shows the hijackers of the ship wearing suits with breathing apparatuses. That could be how the people in the woods remain unaffected rather than some innate immunity. Since the psychosis is caused by something in the air, it can be avoided by not breathing the air.
The psychosis. 6.01 ended with Emori attacking Murphy and saying “he’ll do it to you too.” For her, she probably thinks Murphy is someone who assaulted her in the past. The man may have even sang to her so that may have been her trigger. The trailer shows Murphy hiding out and shooting at Bellamy. I think he thinks he’s back in season 1 and believes that everyone is against him. Clarke and Echo are shown holding weapons to their necks in the second season 6 trailer and the episode promo, respectively. That could indicate that their psychosis is about their own self doubts. In the promo for this episode, Clarke says “When I’m in charge people die.” so I’m thinking she’s going to start believing that everyone is better off without her. The second season 6 trailer has a voiceover saying “You want to do better here? You can’t. You’re a cancer, you know what we do.” This sounds like Abby’s voice. Another voice says “Finish what you started.” which could refer to the moment Clarke put a gun to her head in the desert last season. I have two thoughts for Miller and Jackson. One is they have the same illusion that one of the killer worms from last season is inside Miller. In the first season 6 trailer, Jackson is picking up a knife as Miller says, “I feel it!” It cuts to Clarke holding down Miller’s arm while Jackson slices into it. Clarke sliced into Octavia’s arm in a similar way last season to pull out the worm. My second thought is that Jackson is trying to “stop” Miller. In the premiere, Jackson noted that he didn’t stop Miller from blindly following Blodreina. His psychosis could be playing on that. Bellamy attacking Murphy is hard for me to pin down. Could be some season 1 flashbacks from when Murphy held Bellamy hostage.
Jordan’s first encounter with violence. Jordan is present when angry members of Wonkru are attacking Octavia. He will be stunned, sad, and frightened since he hasn’t know violence of any kind. I doubt Monty told him about Octavia burning down the algae farm so I don’t think he holds any ill will towards her. He might not be swayed by the opinions of the others and could try to befriend her. Fade of the Internet suggested that Octavia and Jordan might develop a romance. I’m not sure about that but I do think Jordan could bring some sun into Octavia’s life.
Side Theory: Raven ends up pregnant. This isn’t part of 6.02 but someone in one of the Facebook fan groups proposed it. This totally appeals to my shipper heart and is a bit cockamamie. However, Raven does have mommy issues so becoming a mom herself could force her to “face those demons”. This could also touch on her “I don’t deserve happiness” feelings. Shaw was, as Lindsay Morgan put it, “her silver lining”. Their baby could be an extension of that.

GAH I love theorizing! Yours sound REALLY legit too- better than anything I can come up with hahah. I think you are 100% right about some people being immune to the psychosis- in the children’s book, it says “few are safe”, which means SOME are. Not many, but some. It’ll be interesting to see what the criteria for that is though! Obviously not nightblood!
I don’t like the idea of Jordan and Octavia being romantic partners, but friends DEFINITELY! They both had very similar childhoods, if you think about it, and I think he WOULD befriend her, like you said, because he has no ill-will. In fact, Monty had a LOT of love for Octavia, so I feel like those are the stories he’d have shared with Jordan. Meanwhile, I am still rooting for O and Niylah hah.
I don’t know how I feel about Raven being pregnant. Because is it a blessing on this new planet? I am not sure. But then, MY particular shipper heart wants Raven and Murphy to get together somewhere down the road, so 😉
I could see Octavia/Niylah happening and thought Raven/Murphy had potential before Shaw came along.
